Pros: Flattering light with few shadows. Minimizes wrinkles. Is great for music videos or when used as a stylized effect.

Cons: Really bad reflection for anyone wearing glasses. Limited to shooting through the ring light. It's bright to look at.

The shotgun microphone is the most directional option for microphones. It has a very narrow pickup pattern which means it picks up sound from what it is pointed at and rejects sound from other directions. Point the mic at something and it focuses like a laser beam. This kit includes all gear you’ll need for the Advanced Audio kit. The only thing you’ll need to provide are 4 AA batteries for the Zoom H5 audio recorder.
